We grew our guides to 20 and rebuilt how you find your way around

I've made a few changes at once: the guides, the topic pages, and the homepage itself.

The guides went from 11 to 20

Something had been bothering me while I was writing guides. There wasn't a single guide on column addition and subtraction, column multiplication, or long division. When I counted the worksheets, 93 out of 855 are column arithmetic. That's not a small slice, and it was the one gap I hadn't filled.

So I started there, then kept going: area, properties of shapes, common denominators and reducing fractions, multiplying and dividing fractions, speed, and multiples and divisors. Nine new guides in all. That brings the total from 11 to 20.

Each topic page now says where it fits

I also went back to the topic hub pages. Until now, the explanation there just described what the topic itself covers. That's probably not the only thing a reader wants to know. What did your child learn before this, and where does it lead next? I added that as a third paragraph.

This covers 102 topics, in 5 languages, so 510 pages in total.

The homepage finally has a way in

I'll say this plainly: the site had no navigation. There was no way to jump straight from the homepage to a grade.

So I added a navigation bar — worksheets, guides, news, about — to every page. The homepage now shows grade cards for grades 1 through 6, along with the 3 most recent guides and news posts.

Why do all three at once

They're separate pieces of work, but they share one root. It's not enough to just make worksheets. I need to write things worth reading when you're stuck, and make sure you can actually find them. Without that second part, the writing doesn't reach anyone.
