Even after cutting the stretch at midday and counting the hours correctly, the part of the minutes above sixty fails to be turned into hours, and an answer such as ninety minutes is left standing. A final check on the minute figure prevents it. Counting the morning minutes and forgetting to add the afternoon ones also occurs.
