We've started publishing free math worksheets

The diglabo math worksheets are now online. You can download and print practice sheets for grades 1 through 6 — calculation, word problems, and more — for free.

Why I built this

It started with my daughter.

Every time she was handed another workbook, I watched her get worn down by it. You can't skip the parts that don't make sense, and you're made to repeat the parts you already know. When you buy a book, you can't drill only the topic you need right now. Sitting next to her, I could see math itself turning into something she disliked.

I am not an education specialist. I didn't know how to teach any of this. But I did think that having problems at the right level, in the number you actually need, would make that time at the table a little less painful.

So I set out to build worksheets you can print on the spot by picking a grade and a topic. You practice exactly what you need, as many times as you need, in step with what school is covering.

What comes next

This is still very much a work in progress. The problems themselves and the look of the sheets will keep improving, and features will be added one at a time.

There is one thing I've decided about how I build it: don't try to solve things with volume. If more pages were the answer, the workbooks on the shelf would already have been enough. They weren't, and that's why this exists.
