You can now try photo grading without signing up

Until now, grading a printed worksheet by taking a photo of it meant creating an account first. Now you can try it on up to 3 sheets without signing up.

Using it works the same way

On a worksheet's page, tap "Grade a photo" and take a photo of the finished worksheet. Grading starts right away, even if you're not signed in. Everything up to the marks on each answer and the score works the same as with an account.

Until you sign up, we don't ask for your child's name either. We ask for names all at once when you create an account.

3 sheets is a trial allowance

Without an account, you can try up to 3 sheets. Below the result for your first sheet, we show how many more you can try. When you go to grade a fourth sheet, you'll be invited to create an account.

The 3 sheets aren't a paywall. With an account, it stays free as before, and you can grade up to 50 sheets a day.

I decided not to show "up to 3 sheets" before you take a photo. I didn't want you counting how many are left before you'd even tried the first one.

Records stay on this device

Records from grading without an account are kept only in the browser on the device you're using. If you clear your browser data or switch to another device, those records can't be recovered.

If you create an account later, your records carry over, and you can see them on your other devices too.

What comes next

I started building diglabo because I saw my daughter getting stressed by all sorts of learning materials. When signing up comes first, I think it can stop people before they've even tried. Start with one sheet: solve it on paper and take a photo.
