Triangles worksheets for Grade 3 (Elementary School)
What this unit covers
Side lengths are the key to telling an isosceles triangle from an equilateral one. Through Finding Isosceles Triangles and Finding Equilateral Triangles among a row of figures, children practice applying the conditions of two equal sides and of three equal sides.
Pulled by how a figure happens to be turned, children skip triangles whose point does not face upward. If only the tilted figures are missing, this is the pattern. Failing to notice that an equilateral triangle also counts as isosceles, and leaving it out of the answer, happens as well.
