Lines joining vertex to vertex are drawn inside the figure. Diagonals of a Rectangle marks the length as far as the crossing point and has the whole diagonal worked out from it. Diagonals of a Rhombus marks the two as crossing at a right angle and gives the side length as well. Both read a drawing and write down a length.

What carries a measurement in Diagonals of a Rectangle is the half as far as the crossing point, while what is asked for is the whole. Answers come out with the figure from the drawing copied straight across. A diagonal is cut in two at the crossing, so the answer is exactly twice the figure shown. Halving what was written and seeing whether it matches the drawing is the test.
