- Circular Arrangement
The road becomes a ring. Circle (Illustrated) comes with a figure of five to seven trees around a pond, and in Circle (Length), Circle (Count) and Circle (Spacing) any two of the perimeter, the number of trees and the spacing settle the third. The questions are worded to match the previous lesson.

Pick one tree and go once round the ring and the legs passed through come to exactly the number of trees. Use the shape of expression from the previous lesson on a ring and the count of legs falls out of step with the count of trees. Whether the number of gaps written into the expression equals the number of trees in the question settles it.
What a ring changes is grasped by holding this lesson against Straight Lines. Number of Intervals moves the trees themselves aside and takes up only the counting of the gaps.
