- Price Word Problems
Word problems gather nothing but shopping scenes. Finding the Total gives the total cost from a unit price and a count, Difference, What Is Left, and Change gives what remains after a cost comes out of money held or the gap between two costs, and Combinations (3 or More Terms) gathers three or more quantities into a cost, each said as a single expression.

In the shapes producing change or a remainder, adding the cost of the goods back onto the answer returns the money held in the question exactly. Without that check, items appear where the subtraction was done ahead of the multiplication, the unit price alone taken from the money held, and the count multiplied afterwards. An answer larger than the money held is that mix-up.
Equal Sharing and Distribution Word Problems practiced assembling around division. What stands at the center here is multiplying and subtracting. Sum and Difference Problems changes the shape into finding two numbers at once.
