- Multiplying 3 Numbers
A procedure for multiplying three numbers inside one expression is assembled. Whichever pair is taken first, the product is the same, so the pair that makes a round figure is cleared away first and the remaining number multiplied into it. Beyond the horizontal working, Fill in the Blank and the word problems ask for the same choice.

Pick the pair to gather first, then multiply the third number into their product: that is the procedure. Stop once the gathered product has been reached and the third number never gets multiplied in. Checking whether the answer is still nothing but the product of two out of the three reveals the omission.
The large numbers of Multiplication with 0 and Tens do not appear here, and all three factors go back to being single digits. What grows is only how many numbers are being multiplied. Multiplication leaves behind the habit of choosing the pairing before any arithmetic starts.
