- Simple Percentage
Word problems bring two pairs of an original length and a changed length, in scenes such as a rubber band stretching or a bandage being pulled. Simple Percentage has each pair written as an expression to find how many times as long it became, and the one that changed more is answered as A or B. The figures always divide evenly.

Answers appear where only the amount gained was looked at and the larger gain chosen. Where the original lengths differ, a large gain can still be a small multiple. Check that two divisions stand in the expression box and that it is their quotients being compared.
The view of laying two quantities side by side and reading their relation is completed by this comparison of multiples. Area leaves relations between quantities and takes up a way of saying how much ground a figure covers as a number.
