The solid after assembly is thought about from the flat shape before it. Overlapping Edges and Overlapping Vertices answer, from symbols marked around the outline, which partner each one meets. Choosing the Sketch from the Dimensions is a word problem picking between two sketches, and Edge Length reads which of the height, width and depth each edge stands for.

In Choosing the Sketch from the Dimensions, A and B differ in one of their three figures. Answers appear settled on the impression of a tilt or how the faces show, without the figures being read and compared. The three lengths read off the opened shape and the three lengths of the chosen sketch are matched one against another. Edge Length reads that same correspondence.
Opening a solid out flat to think about it happens only here within the unit. The connections investigated as far as Perpendicular and Parallel Edges and Faces are traced once more on the opened shape. Describing Position leaves shape itself and says where a point lies as a set of figures.
