What this worksheet covers
- Worksheet
- Amount per Unit Quantity
Scenes such as crowdedness, fuel economy, cost and Population Density are compared by dividing one quantity by another. Questions finding an amount per 1 and comparing two of them, questions finding a whole amount or a count from an amount per 1, and questions finding the price of one item from the difference between two ways of buying stand together, and some are two-tier Word Problems that find the amount per 1 first.

Only the question finding the price of one item from the difference between two ways of buying takes a different shape. Total the costs and total the counts, then divide, and out comes a figure mixing the two conditions. Whether both the difference of the costs and the difference of the counts appear together inside the expression is what separates them.
Calculating the Average leveled figures of one kind into a single representative. What gets tied together here are two quantities of different kinds. In Speed, Distance, and Time those two become distance and time.
