- Describing Position
Where a point lies is said with figures alone. Position on a Plane picks one of four points on grid paper and answers with a set of two figures, across and down. Position in Space fixes one vertex of a rectangular prism as the reference and describes another with a set of three, across, down and up.

An answer in Position on a Plane is written across first and down second. Items appear where that order has been swapped. The grid runs from 0 to 8 across and from 0 to 6 down, so a 7 or an 8 arriving second in the set means the two changed places. Counting starts from the top left corner of the grid.
Lessons investigating the shape of a solid itself end here, and this one dealt only with where a point lies. Various Word Problems leaves figures and takes up reading a scene and assembling an expression.
