- Converting Capacity Units
Only two shapes of conversion are handled. Splitting a decimal number of L into L and mL, and gathering a pair of L and mL back into a single decimal number of L, are repeated with values whose L part runs from 1 to 9 and whose mL part is a multiple of a hundred.

When the pair is gathered into one, papers come in where only the mL part was turned into a decimal and the L figure standing in front was dropped. Seeing whether the whole-number part of the gathered answer matches the original L figure is all that is needed.
This lesson traces once more, over capacity, the way of building a pair that Converting Units of Length established. The next unit, Congruent Figures and Angles, leaves the restating of quantities and finds the sizes of angles in figures.
