- Common Divisors and Greatest Common Divisor
Questions writing out the divisors two numbers share, and questions finding the largest among them, stand side by side as Calculation. The Word Problems, which share out fruit or stationery of two kinds with nothing left over, call for the same operation.

Some of the sharing questions ask for the number of people once one person is set aside. Papers add the 1 that is a perfectly good divisor, so a 1 left in the row of answers means the instruction to set someone aside went unread. In a bare question, 1 is a correct answer.
The row written out for a single number in Divisors and Multiples (Listing) is here brought together in twos to hunt for the overlap. Common Multiples and Least Common Multiple hunts for that overlap on the side of multiples.
