What this worksheet covers
- Topic
- Capacity (L, dL, mL)
- Worksheet
- Addition (Same Units)
Addition equations line up and the combined quantity is the answer. Only matched units are involved, L throughout or dL throughout, so the figures are added and the same unit put back on. Word Problems, where the equation has to be assembled from a situation, appears as well.

Leaving the unit off and finishing with a bare figure stands out. Nothing in the answer says whether L or dL was added. In Word Problems, only one of the two quantities, the starting one or the one poured in, gets written into the equation.
Third lesson, and the crossing from restating units to calculating with them. In Addition (Different Units) one quantity comes written in a pair of units such as L and dL, while the other may carry a single one.
